Everyday I stand and speak up for us Veterans!! God bless and good evening to everyone. I spent most of day crying silently for my boo was sick, thinking of WWII Veteran Mr. Russ and many other Veterans who have gone on to Glory! Today I went to Dennys to get a free meal and to see if they would let me take my boos to go. I asked the manager and he said no take outs and I would to purchased my boos meal if I wanted it to go. This pissed off a several Veterans that I would have to pay for my boos meal. especially the Marines when they found out that my boo is a Marine. I sat down,ordered,when it had come ate mine and I ordered my boos meal. As I was checking out and preparing to pay I saw a very nice man who seating everyone and before he was cleaning out the tables. I asked him was he a manager, he said, Yes a Corporate Manager™ I said to him could he please look outside at my Jeep and he said, Let us walk outside to it.. We did just that, I explained to him about the God given mission that Im on. Then I asked him did he know many Veterans are left behind today due to being sick, bed ridden, etc.and etc. I told him that how sick my boo was today and that I wished they offered take out for those Veterans. I know everyone isnt honest and will do anything to get over, but there honest people out there too who truly looks out for other peoples well being. I felt blessed when Dave the Dennys Corporate Manager said, No change and even gave our beverages for free Yesterday the VA doctor had taken my boos off his chemo pump until next Monday due him having discoloring and cramping to his palms and bottom of his feet. They feel that his chemotherapy is too strong and next Monday they will be reducing it. This really got me down and having someone like Dave the Dennys Corporate Manager to do something nice for my boo and me really made our day. I pray that this true testimony will make someones day.
