Everyone.. I am going to start offering a Precision Buoyancy - TopicsExpress

Everyone.. I am going to start offering a Precision Buoyancy Clinic ~ Guided Dives. This will not be a certification class but rather guided dives that focus solely on high level buoyancy techniques, and propulsion (fin kicks). I can tailor the clinic to the divers as well since, frankly achieving true stability in the water takes practice (a lot of practice....) and patience. Buoyancy/Stability/Trim are the key components here - remaining motionless in the water (while task loaded... we will shoot SMBs, do mask drills and other stuff) while in trim, neutral in the water and start to learn efficient kicks (Proper Flutter, Frog, Modified Proper Flutter, Modified Frog, Helicopter turns, and the Back kick). The clinic can progress as well with the students over multiple session to achieve the goals you want, extremely controlled buoyancy, stable photography, enhanced awareness while teaching (for the instructors out there). This is perfect if your getting ready for a Tech Diving class, Planning on attending GUE fundamentals, thinking about doing an SRD class, want to prefect your buoyancy for photography, getting ready to Teach the new OW class, or just want to up your game in diving. Max clinic size will be 4 students - ideal is 1-3. I highly recommend at least 25 dives after open water before coming. I also recommend you coming in a configuration you have dived before (i.e. no new gear for the class) and that the students know the proper weighting for that rig before class. I would like to maximize time in the water. Equipment configuration is open from Single Tank Jacket BCs to Double tanks in a drysuit. I will match the students as much as possible with my gear as desired or come in what is possible to achieve (yep, ill come in doubles and a dry suit and do it all at 6 ffw with you :)) 1 Day with at least 2 dives. Depths are shallow ~ less than 25 ffw most of the time will be spend shallower in the ~15 range. Each water session will have a video debrief as well (yep, Ill film you doing skills/fin techniques and we can discuss post dive, and make corrections/adjustments). The clinic can be individualized depending on what you want to learn, if your an instructor (for instance) and want to build a solid foundation to enable you to focus on the students for the new OW class we can do that. My aim is to help you be a better, more confident diver and look good doing it. Expect to walk out with of the day with Home Work to do :) and if you want to do it again with and work on further refinement of skills we can keep at it. Cost will be $150/pp @ FLSP, more elsewhere depending on location. Again, no certification is offered here, there is the normal paper work (PADI Med, liability, safe diver forms) to fill out. Just message me if you want to schedule it or ask any questions.
