Everyone I know ever: You need to stop being so hard on yourself. I disagree. I dont think Im hard on myself enough. There are so many things I know I can do but dont do em. I rationalize failure and less than mediocre performance in everything, and my reasons? Oh, well I had to deal with a lot of hardship sooo... Thats not an excuse anymore. This isnt 15 years ago where I could get mediocre grades in my sleep and just laugh at everything that I didnt make sense of (pretty much everything except Punk Rock Music and jRPG video games). Im seeing friends of mine get engaged, acquiring jobs that pay nearly three times of mine, and I know that I have the abilities to acquire both. Ive just made the decision not to. The guns been pointed to my head at a disturbingly early age, but that doesnt mean I can give up on life. Its like I say every time I miss an easy spare in bowling: I dont want it enough. And sad/horrifyingly enough, Im starting to believe that I dont want it at all.
