Everyone? This is the the measure of our wonderful girls :) Todays year 11 Lax report. Written by Megan John. Match Report, 25th January The U15 lacrosse team played an away game against Claremont Fan School. The game was won 11-5 to Dunottar. Both defence and attack played incredibly with 7 goals scored by Maisie Stoneman, 1 by Megan John, 1 by Georgie Miller and 1 by Sophie Palacci. Izzy Hardy defended the goal with ease, saving multiple shots from Claremont. Emma Bowkett made numerous great interceptions in the defensive end along with Jacque Hill, getting many turn around balls resulting in goals being scored. Corrine Work gave crucial assists towards goals, also resulting in excellent shots. There was great communication in defense which helped us to keep the Claremont attack away from goal. Our passing around goal in attack was fast and accurate, and ground balls were always picked up by our team. This is the second game of 2014 where Dunottar U15 has won with players down, showing our strength in lacrosse and our amazing team spirit with the help of our coach Miss. Simpson. Consequently, player of the match was Jacque Hill with her excellent defending and interceptions. Well done to the girls, it was a well played game.
