Everyone! This story here just breaks my heart. I REALLY need your help, helping me to help this wonderful boy I’ve named, Riley. Riley was picked up last week in the alley of the 300 block of Riley Street. Neighbors stated he just showed up and had just been walking the alley way for a couple days. When I went to get Riley, he was so wet and so cold but so happy to see me. Riley’s family has not come looking for him and this breaks my heart in two! He is the most amazing 7 year old 65lb male lab mix you will ever meet in your life. He is so VERY submissive and is deathly afraid to move at the shelter with the dogs next to his kennel barking at him (we are working on this). Riley came to the shelter already neutered and in wonderful body condition. He has an old knee injury where he walks with his back let bowed a little bit but doesn’t seem to bother him when he is up and about etc. He has been trained and worked with as he knows commands. He does not jump on people and is very clean in his kennel. He loves walks and loves going for car rides. He has NO issues with cats either, found that out at the Vets today at his checkup. Blood work showed he is also heartworm negative. He would be such a wonderful calm dog to add to your family. Riley is SUFFERING with a broken HEART at the shelter!!!! It’s not fair…..
