Everyone always asks us what are the types of haunts! This can be found on our website but will post it all here too! Intelligent Ghosts They are aware of the people around them, and will often try to make their presence known. They sometimes move around and might attempt to move something to get attention. Usually they have stayed in a certain area for emotional reasons. It might be where they once lived, or where they died. Possibly they have left something unfinished, and feel that they cannot move on. They may not have even realized that they are actually dead. Residual Ghosts These are by far the most common type of entity seen. Usually what is actually happening is a scene from the past is being replayed, with the specter not being aware that anyone else is watching. It is kind of like a tape being played over and over. Often they are seen at the same time. It may replay every day/month on a certain day/time or just once a year. Demonic These are very rarely seen, demons have never been humans. They are characterized by a strong, foul odors, similar to sulfur. While most haunting s are accompanied by a feeling of cold, demons often warm the area around them. They can present themselves in any form, they are frequently seen as a dark black mass. Demons are actually able to harm you, and that is usually their intent. They may attack if they desire and even possess someone. They have lived for thousands of years and cannot be destroyed. The only thing you can do is try and get them to move to a new place and leave you alone! Poltergeists This is by far the most rare type of haunting. Poltergeist can be characterized by sometimes violent physical activity, the moving and stacking of objects, or people being levitated or thrown and banging noises on doors and windows to name a few.Often time’s poltergeist activity tends to focus around a particular individual, so it is not attached to a location. Cold Spots Cold spots are great indicators of paranormal activity. Most paranormal experts think cold spots are caused by spirits drawing the energy or the heat out of a room so they can manifest and show themselves! The colder the air temperature is the easier for them to show themselves! Shadow People The observer generally reports seeing a dark shadow that resembles the form of a human which appears and moves of its own accord. The figures does not have distinguishable facial features and may be either much smaller or larger than a human. They are often noticed as movement from the corner of the eye, sometimes disappearing when the observer turns to investigate. Shadow people may move quickly across a room, usually disappearing through the wall or closed door. Many report a feeling of extreme fear accompanying the sighting. Others have reported that when the shadow moves across their physical being a feeling of extreme cold overcomes their body. This sensation of coldness disappears once the apparition is gone. Apparitions An apparition is defined as the supernatural manifestation of the soul of a decease person or animal, also referred to as a ghost. Apparitions are visual experiences. This takes a lot of energy for a spirit to manifest and show themselves. Orbs Orbs are considered by some people to be the simplest and most common form of a disembodied spirit. In photography and video, Orbs appear to be balls of light with an apparent size ranging from marbles to a basketball. Orbs sometimes appear to be in motion leaving a trail behind them. Most orbs are clear and you can see through them and are most likely dust! There can be many other things that will make an orb in videos or pictures such as rain, bugs, dust, moisture of some kind. What you want to look at is the flight pattern of the orb and if it has its own tail! and if it puts off its energy!
