Everyone beware!!! We got over twenty calls today on a probable scam. People told us that they were called by a male who identified himself as Deputy Howard. He told them that they had a warrant against them and owed money. The caller encouraged them to get a pre-loaded cash card and bring it to Bi-State Criminal Justice Center. Dont fall for this. There is no Deputy Howard, and warrants are not handled that way at all. The best way to deal with these types of callers is to simply hang up.
