"Police said the woman was riding her bicycle at about 9:15 p.m. on Fairmount Boulevard between Fairfax and Marlboro roads when a dark colored Buick Lacrosse, believed to be a late 2000s model, struck her from behind. The woman became trapped underneath the car, which initially stopped. Police said the driver then accelerated in order to flee and dragged the woman a short distance. Police said they are actively searching for the driver and the car, which has a damaged front bumper and right turn signal lens."
