Everyone get ready for some softball !!! The Southeast Regional Tourney begins today in Morganton, NC. We are proud to have 2 Rockville Softball all-star teams participating. The 12U team will play in 4 pool play games (National Division) beginning today. Their schedule is as follows: Wed. 3:00pm -- vs Virginia champion Shenandoah Thu. 1:00pm -- vs Washington All-Stars (Eastern NC) Thu. 5:00pm -- vs Union County Heat (Western NC) Fri. 1:00pm -- vs Tavares All-Stars (South Florida) The other pool (American Division) has 5 teams from Alabama, North Carolina, and Florida. The top 2 teams from each pool will play in the playoffs on Saturday. The champion will move on to Alachua, FL for the World Series, beginning August 6. The 16U team will play in 4 pool play games (American Division) beginning tomorrow. Their schedule is as follows: Thu. 9:00am -- vs North Tampa Gold (South Florida) Thu. 1:00pm -- vs Sylacauga All-Stars (Alabama) Fri. 9:00am -- vs North Tampa Gold (South Florida) Fri. 11:00am -- vs Sylacauga All-Stars (Alabama) The other pool (National Division) has 3 teams from North Carolina and Florida. All 3 teams from each pool will play in the playoffs starting Friday afternoon and ending on Saturday. The champion will move on to Pittsfield, MA for the World Series, beginning July 29.
