Everyone has been asking what we made on Macon Has Talent. Gross Ticket Receipts were $2,840 and after paying Moose for food net was $1,590. However $1,085 was sold in ads for the program and program costs $53 for net of $1,032 on program ad sales. Total Gross Receipts $3,925. Misc expense for extra chair delivery, table cloths, flyers, sign, stage bulbs $110 for profit before donations $2,512. I am very satisfied with this as it was a very professional quality show and we did not have to bother with anything for the food concession other than setting up and cleaning up and getting additional chairs; and for the amount and quality of the food and cost $10 including drink & dessert - we could not have done it ourselves for that even if we had the volunteers to do it, which we dont. The meal was fantastic and lots of it - so we will use that venue again next year, but will offer fish and another meat. Everything was fantastic except the cash donations. I was very disappointed that we had only a few one dollar bills in one of the 4 donation jars. We did during ticket solicitation get $235 in donations($100 from the Manager of Macon Little Theatre who was in the show, and $135 from those that could not attend). Please support them and all the sponsors in our ads. Hopefully next time everyone that cant attend will just donate so we do not have to pay for their dinner if they do not plan to come. TOTAL PROFIT $2,747. Please remember to watch for our 2nd Annual Macon Has Talent Show likely to be in November 2015. I hope to max out the building fund for MPNP with it. We will need more attendees and donations. It really is a lot for the money! We will continue to have fundraisers until we meet our goal. Please continue to support us in the ways that you can.
