Everyone is asleep.. This is when I tend to reflect. I share on here (maybe more than I should- according to my mom!) But, I remember a conversation my dad had with me years ago. Reason why I remember it now, because I FINALLY understand it! He used to ask me at a young age, maybe 12-13 yrs old.. Dad: Angella, who is your best friend? (I used to name them) Jessica A Hennessy III and Sarah Reilly Sutter, youll understand the time frame. he would then tell me.. Dad: No Angella, your best friends are your mother and father. We will always be there for you! As a teenager, Id laugh. Now I get it. My father is in heaven (Id give anything to have those talks again.) My mother has been in Greece all summer. Again, those 5 min conversations arent much 2x a week. I guess what Im trying to say, those that are always there for you, will be there no matter what! Family or friends (that are like family.) Appreciate them, one day they may be gone.- Missing my mom and dad!
