Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend this major community inter-faith choral event on Sunday Oct. 5. All proceeds go to refugee relief. The theme this year is Hope. Singers of Mount Zion -- whether choir members or not -- are also invited to be part of the combined choir. Rehearsals are on Saturday October 4 from 9 - 12 at St. Matthews Lutheran and on Sunday (Oct. 5) afternoon with the public event at 7 pm on Sunday evening. A modest $15 fee covers a meal hosted by St. Matthews between the 2nd rehearsal and performance (waived for choristers who choose not to stay for the supper). Contact music director/deacon intern Scott Knarr ASAP if you want to sing! Lets support this worthy annual event that demonstrates how effectively different faiths can work together for a greater cause.
