Everyone knows how sensitive I am so my reactions are no surprise, but I seriously dont even know what just happened. This day was overwhelming. It feels like a dream. Ava is dealing ok with this one compared to Kasper. I honestly have not been this upset in years. Ten years ago dogs came into my life and made such a difference in my world. They really were like my other kids with fur. Its been well over a year now that I have been giving Goldie a lot of extra care coming home everyday at lunch to check on her at take her out to go to the bathroom. Picking her up right after work before I go anywhere else. Then came Frankie who I also knew wouldnt last long but dang made a huge impact of love. It was inevitable. Just wasnt expecting this. It is so different in our home right now. They gave us a lot of joy & laughs. SO MUCH healing. I know its gonna take a minute & I will bust out, but I am so heavy sad right now. No dog energy. Hope I feel them from the other side soon! Thank you so much for all the love!!!!
