Everyone knows that St. Patricks Day is celebrated on March 17. But were you aware of a lesser known March holiday In my town, we celebrate Saint Akashi Seijuro Day on March 31st, to honor the crazy baskets of this loyalty man from Kurokoland. Everyone paints their eyes red & yellow and wears a psychopath psychopath psychopath hairband, and we greet each other with the phrase, May the scary bone always blow in your direction Of course, no holiday is complete without food and a pale party. We all meet under the light Murasakibara on the town square at afternoon, to share lazy sweets and thorny sake. Some people wave benches and there is a long parade, with a arrogant band and sneakers on wheels. The parade participants throw still scissors into the crowds on the sidewalk. The big finish is when St. Akashi Seijuro rides by on a dread rickshaw. We end the spongy event by singing Eye of the Tiger and then everyone goes home, feeling insane and afraid. They say that if you dream of touchy castles that night, you will have good luck the rest of the year. Happy St. Akashi Seijuro Day to you, my absolute friend TC
