Lucky for her she was seen by a concerned individual who called Judi, but the first time looking for her, Judi had no luck. The next day the same individual said that Amazy was laying by a dumpster in the shade & tall, cool grass. When Judi got there, there she was, curled up in a tiny ball. When she first put her head up, Judi thought she was a young puppy about 5-6 months old but after approaching her, Judi quickly noticed she was severely emaciated & covered with mange so she is really small. When Judi approached her she had a can of food & Amazy immediately bypassed the food & crawled up & jumped right on Judis lap to give kisses & offer grateful love. Amazy was so happy to finally know she was safe again. Once Judi got her home, she noticed how bad the mange truly was. Amazy has blood blisters all over her body, she has lost 95% of her hair, she is sunburnt & scabbed, along with being very thin. Its hard to tell in pics but she is literally skin & bones. Her feet have huge blisters on the bottoms from walking on the extremely hot asphalt road. Because of the cruel cold hearts of Amazys previous owners, she is going thru a lot of pain & she needs our help to recover & to be able to have the chance at a happy life, that she was never given before. Now that Amazy is with Judi she is receiving the care she needs but donations are needed to help cover medical cost so treatment can continue. Amazy must have several doses of ivermectin, be fed skin sensitive diet, receive antibiotics & medicated shampoo baths. Her recovery process will be a LONG one & all of these medical treatments will/must be continued for a long period of time. Once she has recovered, she must be spayed, vaccinated, dewormed & microchipped & then await for her perfect forever home to come along. Lets step up & show Amazy the Amazing Grace of a happy, pain free life. Amazy is dog friendly, kid friendly & cat friendly, even after all the torture shes been thru. She does have a FB page.
