Everyone say a prayer, please. I had my sisters nursing home send her information to two nursing homes in Lafayette today, Magnolia Manor and Maison de Lafayette. I went to a third one but they had a very long waiting list, so Im praying one of those two will accept her. Mental health issues are hell to deal with in the first place, but she is physically going downhill very fast due to the damn Parkinson disease. I feel a strong need to get her closer to me. So if anyone has any ties to administration in either of those nursing homes, please put in a plea for my sister, Terry Blais. Heck, Im a nurse - Id almost go and work a shift for them now and then if theyd just let her move closer to me! Thats desparation, people!
