Everyone says that on Facebook people only share how great they are doing -how in love they- are where they went on vacation etc etc. Well FB friends last night was one of the worst nights of my life- in a long- long- time. Alex woke me up (@ 1am) because my Cat Stoney was having convulsions ( we think he got into some rat poison or snail bait outside). He died in route to the emergency vet. My apartment and my life in Long Beach just got a whole lot emptier. Stoney was a very robust cat (Maincoon mix) I planned on him living a good 15 or more years ( he was 8) and Lucky ( our black cat) was his side-kick little brother. I really feel for Lucky because our other cat Amanda died a only about 3 months ago ( she was 18). There were 3; now theres 1. Heres a couple of old pics ( not the best) -Stoney loved me even when I looked like Quasimodo ( Halloween) and Lucky is sleeping with me with his cone on. I know people say love your (human) family but your anipals are family too. YOU are all they have in this world - so if you have a Dog, a Cat or or Rabbit etc.Please go hug them for me- or better yet hug them for my Stoney One minute they are here and then they are gone...RIP good friend. :-(
