Everyone should read this; This is across the pond - but just goes to show people will do anything to get their hands on a dog. Be mindful if you let your dog run off leash at a beach or usually dog-friendly area; there may be predators waiting for the perfect moment to snatch your dog. Keep collars and tags updated and most importantly - microchip animals and keep that info current. So glad this story had a good outcome - but you know there are many that havent. :(
