Everyone that is considering attending this years ASCLS Annual meeting in Chicago, IL. should most definately apply for this scholarship!! Anietie Uko and I won the scholarship last year to the 2013 ASCLS Annual meeting in Houston, Texas. This is a national conference, so think ASCLS Region 1 or ASCLS-CNE meetings but on the national level.. thus meaning you will be able to network with students, and professionals from across the country! If you are interested in applying to jobs outside New England I would most definetely recommend applying for this scholarship and attending this conference for the networking alone! THIS WILL BE MY THIRD YEAR GOING and everytime I have a have a ton of fun, obviously attend the workshops, and not only meet up with people that I have met at previous meetings but also expand my network and meet more.
