Everyone we talked to knew that she was going to be in foster care for the 14 days that the birth mom had to change her mind. Since day one of us getting the call that she was born I know that God has laid this perfect plan of his out for all of us. I have an enormous amount of respect for foster families. They willingly take these children in who have come from all stages of life and from many different and sometimes very sad situations. We didnt know anything about the foster family other than the mom runs a daycare out of their home. God blessed us with this foster family to care for our baby. The foster mom had said right before they got the call to take in Bella that she had made the comment that she wished they would get an infant and shortly after they did. This family literally took Bella in as their own. They took her to church and she even went to a wedding with them. They spent countless hours loving and feeding her and talking to and praying for her and for us and they had all of the people that they knew doing the same. They also lost a few hours of sleep or a lot of hours of sleep :) but they never once complained. Meloney Gwin was Bellas foster mom and she gave me many tips and lessons in Baby 101 and helped prepare me for when we got home with her. She taught me how to care for my peeling little girl and gave me hair and feeding tips. She took pictures everyday and e-mailed them to us. She posed Bella in some precious outfits. We had left our camera with her in case she wanted to take pics. When we picked Bella up she told us she had taken 400 pics. YES 400 pics. Wow! This family was so sweet and supportive and they let us come see Bella when we wanted to and we were never rushed to end our visit. We never worried for one second if she was in the right hands. I knew she was in Gods hands and that he had picked out the perfect family for us. Kevin Taylor and I can never ever forget this family and what they did for us as a family. I only had one request from them before we took her home and this was for all of us to take one photo together. My heart is just overfilled with so much love that has been shown to us and for Bella!
