Everything I think I love about bisbee melts away whenever I open facebook. In my imagination bisbee means hippies, vagabonds, millionaires, miners, cowboys, businessmen, priests, muslims, devil worshippers, hipsters, artists, cross dressers, and anyone else I left out can all come together and have a coffee or beer and mingle and be united in tolerance, intellect and diversity. The last couple years have been like cold water in my face... what happened to the town i love and grew up in? Its the people that made this town interesting and loveable (otherwise its just a pile of slag a big hole in the ground)... now its just egomania fighting for the scraps of that memory... sad. Its now the place to be different (like everyone else) or be rejected, judged and criticized... because bisbee has evolved into a click of homogenous self righteous hippycrite hipsters that kick you out the temple at the first whiff of disagreement. For anyone new to town, sorry you missed it. It was grand. Maybe it can be recreated someday... time will tell.
