Everything for dinner tonight was delicious. I remember starting life out with Jeffrey Coticchio and James Brandt not being able to cook a thing. It was soup in a can and a sandwich, hot dogs or frozen pizza- no joke! Over the past 10 years I have slowly become a fantastic cook (If I may say so myself.) Everything is made from scratch and pretty darn healthy- Jimmy went from having high cholesterol to it being no issue- his level is not even at the high end of "normal- safe.") So now for a few years I have slowly been having my daughter Jessica Taylor Brandt cook with me and slowly transitioned to cooking dinner alone at times and now once or twice a week.. She is amazing and will one day be an amazing chef for her husband and family. "PROUD MOMMA!" The other night she made Chinese food, Orange Chicken and home made egg rolls from scratch. Yep, one or two nights a week she cooks dinner for us all. I am also am blessed to have my daughter in law, Alexis Elizabeth Fendler cooks weekly. (Last night was homemade chicken soup with homemade beer bread and baked zucchini!) Life is pretty much wonderful- I have some amazing folks around me and we are eating super healthy.
