Everything in life at first glance could be looked at in simplicity but if that glance lingers longer than it should we find that everything we once thought simple becomes annoyingly complex. - Did you know that the proof for 1+1=2 is 372 pages long? - Have you tried to define the word “the” before? - Scientists cannot agree on why we yawn. - Between mathematicians and physicists it has been shown that one can never truly know the actual length of any piece of string due to the shifting of subatomic particles. - It is very hard to define enjoyment because for every person that enjoys something there is one who hates it. - How would you explain the difference between a right or left hand to someone who knew nothing about hands? As we attempt to share God’s love with a world that so badly needs it we run into this wall of “Simplexity”. God’s original plan seemed simple. Then we sinned, and His solution for our separation from Him also seemed simple. Unfortunately it seems that the longer we spend thinking and trying to explain what He did, is doing, and will do the more complex it becomes. Is it good or bad to look at God in a simple way? Is it beneficial or a detriment to look at God’s complexity? This Sabbath, join us at the Wisconsin Academy Seventh-day Adventist church to worship God in spirit and in truth.
