Everything still is not getting this drive to work. The last things i am going to try is using the 2nd other card UAD says will work with the Apollo. I just ordered it with overnight air delivery so ill see if it does anything different. Also i will try to get a different firewire cable even though this one came with the apollo, maybe the legacy driver does work & the apollo cable is just faulty. After that if nothing works i will return this & get one of those you all suggested. So far it would be between these 1. Steinberg UR824 (dont like its look & sound prob not as good) 2. Scarlet 18i20 (looks okay but wondering about sound) 3. MoTu 828x (not sure if it works USB or Thunderbolt or both, Also price idk & sound idk, the look is okay, i dont like that the main in for monitors are not quarter inch since i paid already so much for mogami cables quarter inch) The RME FireFace one you all talked about seems okay but again i dont like that the main outs are not quarter inch, also it looks retro AF lol, has so many inputs on the front i like my fronts clean, and has no dedicated knobs for the front headphone jacks next to them so i guess it all has to be the same level which sucks.
