Everything thats in the past is left in the past, otherwise, growth and evolution cant take place. People that cant let go of past things clearly exemplify a level of immaturity and insecurity, for they failed to embrace a bigger picture. It takes strength, faith and self-esteem if we wish to accept promotions in life, because it is easy to get stuck in old ways and be afraid of what lies ahead. Truth will always be truth and we shouldnt worry that we might loose sight of reality if we opt to follow the heart. In fact, truth is always present in our hearts and no where else, because the Lord makes His Presence within unconditional love. This doesnt mean that in order to move up in life we should forget our history, but that we should learn to let go of things that are no longer relevant. Even if it is painful to let go of a dream, we can be reassured that God lovingly guides us to eternal life, where heaven awaits us. The lessons of the past are applied in the present and the present teaches that the future is not the effect of past events, but of present understanding. In order to be who the Lord wants us to be, which is His Image, we need to let go of whats in the past and appreciate what He delivers to our present time. We need to share faith and love wholeheartedly.
