Everything went fairly smoothly today. As always, he felt a bit lousy while receiving his IV meds, but did great other than that. When it was time for his spinal tap today, he asked the OR nurse if he could push his bed into the operating room instead of ride in it. I saw him gets lots of smiles from other docs and nurses as he headed back there. 😃 He was a little more loopy as he woke up, and extra hungry! He could hardly hold his head up and was already begging for Doritos! Back tomorrow for IVIG, which is basically the antibodies of a ton of different people put together and given to him. His IGG is low, which means chemo wiped out most of his antibodies. Hopefully this will help him to fight off some of the bugs that he has been prone to get. Another early morning in this cold weather, so we will bundle up!!❄️
