Everything went great today with Evies scopes. In fact it went so - TopicsExpress

Everything went great today with Evies scopes. In fact it went so well they didnt keep Evie over night like they were planning to. Thankfully we were able to get back into the same hotel we stayed at last night, and Evie was so happy to get out of there! Now for all of the good news! Evies airway looked great with no granulomas! The ENT doctor was happy to see some improvement with her tracheamalacia and said he doesnt need to see us back for six months. The GI said Evie has a good amount of yeast in her esophagus (which is common with her meds), but it is easily treated. He did not see any furrowing (damage to her esophagus) and thought everything looked better than her last scope. He was happy to hear how well she is doing with her elimination diet. We have to wait about two weeks to get the biopsy results but he is optimistic that her eosonphilic count will be down and we will be able to take Evie off from her PPI (Prevacid, med usually used to treat reflux). We will talk more in clinic tomorrow, but he thinks that she should have no problems starting the intensive feeding program we have been waiting on. With his support we are hoping to start outpatient therapy next month and the Intensive feeding program before her second birthday. I just love getting good news it shows how much God is working to heal her little body!
