Everytime I scroll through Facebook there are at least a half a dozen photos of someone posting a picture of somebody flipping the bird. Come on people are we in 8th grade here? It isnt cool despite what you might think. Its the lack of maturity and frankly just rude and offensive. Why must people take a photo of someone flipping you off? If memory serves mes me correctly isnt that like saying to everyone, F..K off or f...yourself? At least thats what I remember it to mean. Is that what you all think of the people that use Facebook? Its supposed to be a social networking website and thats not being social. You cant ever prove to me that its just a finger and it means nothing so I need to get over it. Would you do it to a perfect stranger at a social function. I dont think so since in this day and age it would probably get you badly beaten or even worse, killed just because you flipped them off too be cute. So why do it on facebook. I am not judging anyone here and I am far from being a choirboy but we were born with 10 fingers not just a middle finger so try waving in the photo instead. When someone flips me off I automatically assume they are showing me their IQ score and I will even say that to them. All Im asking is to show some respect to your peers and colleagues. Answer this question, how would you react if a middle school kid or high school student did that to you right in your face? Lets grow up folks and stop acting like children. Just an opinion based on an observation.PLease dont judge.
