Everytime a media page posts something about a shooting in little Rock and I see the comments I start laughing so hard I cant control myself. The people in the expensive houses with the flashy cars that say things like i live in the heights arkansas like its a city and not a neighborhood are always blaming the police or saying things like we just need to blow up southwest because thats were all the bad stuff happens. Newsflash. There was a shooting at park plaza mall yesterday. For those of you who dont know thats northwest and across the street from downtown. Maybe a mile or so away from what is considered the heights. Its also safe to say that at least 90% of the armed robberies that happened this month have happened northwest and downtown. The shootings and just blatantly bad things that happen are all over the place. I work the busiest shift in the 911 center and i can tell you from a daily experience sitting in the big chair, southwest is not the roughest part of the city NOR the busiest. Its not a people in southwest problem. Its a people in general problem.
