Evil psychopath is a contradiction in terms. Evil presumes a force - TopicsExpress

Evil psychopath is a contradiction in terms. Evil presumes a force guided by a (dualistic) Devil; psychopath acknowledges a disease (of the mind), a medical condition. Buddhism doesnt buy into dualism, although the paradigm has been adopted far beyond the Christian sphere of influence by now, over the previous centuries. Buddhism assumes preservation of self and others, the thing thats new for most it that it equates self with others in this respect, based on the unity experience of spirit that underlies everything. Thus evil always is a sickness in which this unity is not well understood. Many (most) people suffer from it, including those proposing diametrically opposed forces as driving the Universe (God and Devil etc.) These forces are only mind (mental) constructions and have no credible basis whatsoever. This Buddhist view allows us to improve and not be vindictive - sabotaging unity and progress - towards ourselves and others. Hate only breeds hate. It is a mind- (mental) construction.
