Evolution has become a given in the scientific world. I am not here to argue that point. Let us assume it is fact. Jerry Walkermade an interesting observation concerning human consciousness being seen as a tragic misstep in evolution. My query is, what is the next step for mankind in the scheme of evolution? What must change about man to survive? What are we doing to ourselves that may throw the process of its natural course? Will our bodies be augmented for the future? Will it be increased mental ability? What say you, philosophers of the new age?
