Evolution is taught in schools because its been proven time and again by verifiable and replicable scientific studies and hard evidence. Religious beliefs are not taught in school because they cannot be proven and have no evidence. In fact, most of it is just dead wrong. The Earth is not flat. Its not the center of the universe. Its not six thousand years old, etc, etc. Religion requires faith. Science does not. Its pretty simple. If you want a biblical education for your children, send them to a religious private school.
