Ewa Pietraszko Says Hi,I need to unload some emotions and this page was the 1st to do so simply because there might be other mums who experiences the same. My lil boy is nearly 4 and recently hes been diagnosed with autism after 1 year of observations, consultations etc. It was though year but finally we do get so needed help which Im grateful for. During this year I met people who were/are more helpful than the ones I used to know. My old friends has doubted my boy being autistic, in their eyes hes a naughty boy who needs discipline they created their own opinions without knowledge and make me feel horrible, hes lovable smile cute face and children with autism arent like this ,they dont give cuddles, they dont laugh...my son does , its his beautiful nature and my hard work to . I know what some of you will say, that my so called friends arent the real ones and it might be true but also I think they havent got a knowledge based on evidence, they repeated stereotypes which hurted me , which put my confidence down , which make me think that Im wrong with my observations...with my suspicions. I didnt have solid knowledge at that time thats why it was so easy to make me feel self doubting. Me and my son , we have this special bond which wasnt there all the time, he blocked me out but finally I can say we are closer and much happier too. Sending hugs to all you oht there who needs support and cant find it with people around you.
