Ex Minister Throws Dr Kaseba into PF Presidential Race Former Justice Minister Sebastian Zulu has thrown in the name of former First Lady Doctor Christine Kaseba to be floated as a Patriotic Front presidential candidate. Zulu said that Dr Kaseba’s candidature would help the party side step the ongoing succession wrangles that threaten the stability of the party. He said Dr Kaseba should be allowed to lead the party and finish off her late husband’s remaining two years in office. Zulu said that he did not see the PF leadership agree on a single candidate outside Dr Kaseba as they were engrossed in succession tussles. “There is a big problem in the party; everyone wants to succeed President Sata. I have my own views why not have Dr Kaseba as the PF candidate because I do not see these other guys agreeing on one person because they all want to be President,” he said. “She has the right profile, she is international and is a medical Doctor and also already known. So why not have a woman at the top.” Zulu said Dr Kaseba would be easy to sell to the Zambian public however his suggestion could split the former first family with President Michael Sata’s first born son Mulenga also reportedly in the race for the top job. zambiareports/2014/11/13/ex-minister-throws-dr-kaseba-pf-presidential-race/
