Ex: Vs. 1, 14 Knowledge: a parent’s role is to discipline, it is his/her responsibility and they are the source of truth (the fountain of life) for children; Vs. 1, 10 Understanding: Rebuke is part of that discipline; Vs. 1, 13, Wisdom: Accepting the discipline and rebuke (if needed) yields rewards Knowledge Facts: Discipline, Truth, Counsel, Fear God, Keep the commandments are the building blocks for understanding and wisdom Understanding: These facts when comprehended yield the path to righteousness Wisdom: the Fruit gained: preservation of one’s life, one’s ways are guarded and protected, favor amongst men, prudence, prosperity and provision for daily needs. Parents may God direct you in His path of wisdom so that you may instruct wisely and prudently precept upon precept. Is 28:10 “For it is precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.”
