Exactly 1 year ago today I went in to USA C&W on bed rest. The longest and last 22 days of my pregnancy. Little did I know just 3 weeks later I would end the chapter of my pregnancy and start the NICU saga. I was certain I would spend at least 2 full months on hospital bedrest. Im loving Gods plan, though!! What a journey. Just... Wowzah. ...its funny how now Im finally able to go out and play and squat down with the girls and lift things. A year or more ago, simply walking outside to the patio chair, standing to cook, or taking a shower was severely high risk. Im taking nothing for granted. These are the days I dreamed of. My goals. My wishes. My encouragement when I wanted to give up. Amazing, actually, when everything sinks in. Thanking God for beautiful moments and answered prayers.
