Exactly 6 years ago today my maternity leave ended and I left my dream job to raise Ella. It has been an exciting time filled with so much growth, great fun, amazing friends, and I have treasured every moment I was able to be there for her. The years have flown by, and when I left I never expected to be gone this long. For those of you that kept asking when I was going back to the birds or why I wasnt still working with animals, well it took being in the perfect time in my life with the most amazing people around me to help it come true. I am beyond excited to announce that I will be rejoining the team of trainers and birds at Natural Encounters, Inc. I can once again call myself a bird trainer! Most importantly, Ella will get to see her mom on stage sharing her passion for animals, the environment, conservation, and fulfilling a dream.
