Exactly! I believe that the magnitude of America’s problems is the result of the failure of the Church to be the Church. Christians have been too comfortable sitting in our climate-controlled sanctuaries and too silent in the face of mild social censure; thus, we have allowed our culture to be coarsened and corrupted by the ungodly. It is well past time for us to go beyond the parking lot, to bring a Biblical worldview to bear on every area of life, and to become the “salt and light” Christ has tasked us to be (Matthew 5:13-16). --Diane Singer I couldnt agree more. We have freely supported foreign missions in most cases, as we well should, but we have failed to support evangelism efforts in our own neighbourhoods. We have failed to harvest our own fields.
