Exactly a year ago all five of us were standing in front of the Tropicana in a record-setting 115+ degree Las Vegas summer.. I seem to recall Death Valley, Ca was officially the hottest place on Earth at that moment in time and newscasters were frying eggs on car hoods in Palm Springs…. We were all fully dressed for our wedding. She was as nervous as a long-tailed dog in a room full of rocking chairs, but she was present in every sense of the word. She was as beautiful as a last sunset. In addition to the heat, the kids were somehow fully charged. Like little fun-seeking Terminators. It was hard enough just getting to the chapel with so many navigators, but we made it with time to spare. We’ve been there and back... more than once. I love you, Danni.
