Exactly when I think it could not get better at Chico Elementary School, it just does! Our parents and kids came out to Meet the Teacher in mass. They filled out important back to school paperwork, did a little tasting tee,heard the great Title 1 news for our campus, endured a lengthy wait while my 5th grade staff, Tammy Sanders , Kallie Simmons, and Michelle Chris Tidwell unloaded a truck load of ice so I could fulfill my ALS Challenge, that my friend Dana Cobb so graciously extended, & then met with their childs teacher. Thanks to one and all who made out Meet the Teacher 2014 a success! Well here is the clip I think I edited the lengthy wait out.... I challenged Maury Martin-Federal Programs Director, Mr. Bill Hand, our School Board President (and I am fairly certain he was up to the challenge then and there and terrible missed opportunity on my part) and Mr. Jones CISDs Superintendent. My prayer is that we raise money and awareness of for the cure of this horrible disease.
