Exam Pattern of NICL Assistants 2013 – Syllabus, Model Question Papers: NICL (National Insurance Company) Syllabus and Patterns of exam for Assistants Recruitment. This year onward there is a combined exam for recruitment of assistants with all the general Insurance companies i.e. National Insurance Co.Ltd, Oriental Insurance Co.Ltd, The New India Assurance Co. Ltd, United India Insurance Co. Ltd. There will be a combined written exam for the recruitment of Assistants with following subjects. Written exam conducted will be an objective test. There will be 5 subject section in written exam for NICL : NICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2013: Duration of objective test: 120 minutes Maximum marks for each section in objective test Reasoning - 50 marks English Language - 50 marks Numerical Ability - 50 marks General Awareness - 50 marks Computer Knowledge - 50 marks Total - 250 marks Total Marks obtained shall be proportionally reduced to a base of 35 marks(A) - 35 marks Interview (B) - 15 marks Total (A)+(B) - 50 marks Written Test: They have unique scoring criteria based on the total score of the candidates in all the subject together i.e. 250 marks the actual score will be taken on scale of 35. Total Marks obtained shall be proportionately reduced to a base of 35 marks (A). Interview: Interview will be held for 15 marks, total score will be calculated on Scale of 50. NOTE : Duration of Objective Test 120 minutes Qualify: Candidates have to qualify in the Computer Proficiency Test for final selection. No separate marks will be awarded for Computer Proficiency Test. Objective: The questions in objective tests, except for the test of English Language, will be printed bilingual i.e. English & Hindi. Negative Marks: There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer Type Of Questions: Question asked in the exam are average type as like Bank’s exam or IBPS.
