Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? (2Co 13:5) If you are in the faith, it means that the Lord Jesus is in you If you are not in the faith, it means that the Lord Jesus is not in you and you are a reprobate a reprobate someone who is rejected by God, disaprove, condemn. That is why it is of atmost improtance to know while we are still alive that we are in the faith, because once we are dead we cant change it. How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (Heb 2:3)
