Excellence was known to be a character trait of Joshua and Caleb.. Ive thought on excellence quite a bit and I think its described well as being one who is godly and is contented in any circumstance, just because of the great gain of the Lord living in us and being with us. But does it mean that we never err or never fight discouragement? Im convinced that it does not mean that we are always perfect in performance but that we always have a perfect heart toward the Father. To me that means that we have reached the place in which yielding to His His high calling on our lives is our top priority. Learning our heavenly identity and striving to walk it out..Our total surrender to becoming all He has created us to be..moment by moment and day by day, whatever the day requires.. .for His glory. In spite of the obstacles and fiery trials that come to turn us any other way. Knowing the assurance of our great salvation and delighting in the processes necessary to enable us to never be greatly moved. Possibly slightly moved as fierce storms swirl all around us.... but always able to re-focus on His skills of Divine Recovery and Restoration..As we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
