That they were accepted by our SBOE in 2011 to give school districts 2 years to gear up for the change in 2014? …all the while parents having no clue the CSCOPE standards (already here for 5 or so yrs.) in over 70% of TX school districts followed the same ideology as CC, and we wondered why on earth our children were/are constantly encouraged and told they can come in for tutoring if they cant get a concept, conferencing with teachers who had signed contracts not to divulge standard materials? Therefore, no parents knew was going on, and no educators could/would tell us. Its no wonder everything is so screwed up. What I do know is that what I continue to find with ALL of the new standards is calculated deception to turn America communist from the classroom with a Social Justice ideology taught from the classroom. TX didnt sign onto CC. CSCOPE went around the legislative process again ant got that implemented and had teachers sign that they would not share the content of the curriculum. It was all online; so they couldnt share the content of the curriculum, and thats been going on for a full year. (WRONG…been going on for TEN years now. Also, here JaKell mentions Dan Patricks involvement in exposing CSCOPE. It makes our newly elected Lt. Gov. Patrick sound like a friend in the fight against CC, when there was a lot of underhanded deception on his part taking place. It was part of a plan to rename the reputation damaged CSCOPE and bring CC through the backdoor with HB5, 21st Century Learning, and Data Collection.)
