Excellent day! I got in about a mile walk this morning before Dr & chemo appts, I have now officially completed 2/3 of my chemo treatments (4 of 6 cycles of 3), one of the infusion nurses is a car nut so he & Gary were discussing Garys 350Z. Then after Gary went home he was talking to me and told me my next vehicle needs to be a Porsche Macan, Turbo of course. Its their new more compact crossover SUV, then he brought me a whole stack of printouts about it & wanted me to look it up on my tablet...it was kinda fun to look. While I was at chemo a neighbor I dont know very well texted me that she was bringing us dinner @6:30 tomorrow and she offered to walk Boo on those days Im not up for it...she had noticed I hadnt been walking as much and was worried...very sweet of her. Her mom had cancer so she wants to help where she can. And THEN another neighbor stopped me as I was walking Boo home (2.5 miles) and gave me a beautiful leatherbound book of inspirational reflections and Bible verses. Those days when blessings big & small just crop up everywhere...makes me smile and appreciate the thoughtfulness of the people around us.
