Excellent insight - identity is used to fragment the producer and lower control classes breaking them down into small groups divide and rule practice. This in turn segregates the masses by not allowing them to involve themselves with other groups of people. These people through a series of hidden persuaders presented by rightwing mass media marginalise and classify groups of people in general under such heading as gay, feminist, blacks, disabled, pacariet, into their social class or classified on how much they earn or what they do for a living and so on. New Labour took it one stage further, that of class denial (Owen Jones) - Experians mosaic classify people in a more colourful way and New Labour followed this... It is only when we involve ourselves with each other and accept of others individual identities as normal yet different can people integrate together and in turn get #Solidarity through our #relationships It is much better and much simpler to see these relationships through such classifications as State, Class - Owners - Controllers - Producers - Family rather than labelling people in society with so many different names. The owner and upper control classes understand this and create #ClassWarfare each time they are in power - test it out empirically - the true will always find away to come out... Clive B
