Excerpt: This war cannot be won except Nigerians realize that we are all culpable in proffering solution to this economic riddle. The leaders rot freely into loot because we do not hold them accountable. Over four-hundred 400 billion Dollars stolen funds were stashed in foreign bank accounts by corrupt politicians and civil servants. The Federal Government must device a means to allow all these looted funds to return to us. A greater percentage of these funds will sure strike a balance in key target areas if injected back into the economy. There has to be a strategy somehow- may be financial amnesty, collaboration with the international banks and international community, notable campaign, prosecution and punitive indictment against fraud. The masses must help in the commitment. By condemning and disenchanting those who have looted our public funds, by this, we send signals that we are aggrieved. Even though poverty stands against these things, but we have to try. If we, the followers remain docile and do not demand accountability from leaders then there is little or no incentive on the part of the leaders to change their ways because like duke once said “if ‘mugu’ no fall guy man no go chop.” *** ***
