Excerpt from Dennis book, SHAKING HEAVEN AND EARTH, As a result, most churches have become purpose-driven, rather than spirit-driven. They teach but no longer activate the people in their spiritual gifts, requiring revelation based on His Word, afraid that activating the supernatural will result in the misuse or misapplication of the gifts being administered to guests and others attending the meetings. This could cause someone to get uncomfortable or offended. As a result, they may decide to leave the church. Then if they leave and take their money with them it could threaten the church’s ability to survive. The problem is that it’s not supposed to be about the church! The church is supposed to be about releasing His kingdom. The church should be believers gathering together for worship while being activated in the supernatural for preparation to minister to unbelievers, as they preach the gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, cleanse the leper and raise the dead in order to demonstrate the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in Heaven. It’s the government of antichrist to build a structure based on information to form thoughts, speculations, and strongholds. But the government of God is built from revelation based on His Word!
