For the umpteenth time, do u think Nigeria is a country or is it a state or nation or just a piece of land. Any government student should know what a state is. A state is seen as a geographical area of land occupied by a group of people with an organised government free from external control. Nigeria is not free from external control. We were still controlled either directly or indirectly. No wonder Chief Obafemi Awolowo emphasized in 1947 that Nigeria is not a state but just a geographical entity...the name Nigerian were used to differentiate between the inhabitant of the land and other states of the world. Apology to non-government students, state in this regard should not be seen as Oyo state, Ogun state but it should be seen as U.S.A. Ghana, Egypt e.t.c.
