Nathaniels Story Most injustice in the Texas juvenile system goes unchecked and when its checked those wanting to make the changes are drug through the system like the juveniles they are trying to protect. Lets face it most politicians do their best to cover any blight that might stain their careers. Hiding any negative press or accusation is relatively the norm in politics. Its so much easier to cover the problem than admit you have one and deal with it under the scrutiny of those who really care. In my faith I believe God works all things for good to those who are called according to his purpose. All though the situation seems bad with my son if I can bring a greater awareness to the plight of the youth suffering in these private torture chambers called juvenile detention centers then it is good. As the link I posted earlier most of the children detained are non violent children, incarcerated for minor infractions. Want to know the difference, these kids cant post bail, and the system treats them in an unfair judicial system, no trials where substantial evidence can be collected and reviewed but a hearing with a quick 3 day limit. My sons time was 24 hours. His court appointed lawyers from wise county did not show up for his Randell county hearing, he was being restrained and abused there and when he fought back there they pressed charges on him.
